Liam Power: Art

Hey there! I'm a local artist from beautiful Waterford, Ireland. I've been on this artistic journey for a good 40 years now. Creativity has been in my blood since I was a kid, and being self-taught, I've explored various painting mediums. Currently, I'm all about oil-based paintings.

Take a stroll through my artwork, and if anything catches your eye or if you'd like a custom piece tailored to your taste, don't hesitate to reach out! I'd love to chat and create something special for you.

Aries - The G.O.A.T.

After applying the final coat of varnish to the painting. It tends to bring out all of the colors in the painting itself and as a result, the colors start to glisten and shine out from the painting.

The Lazy Bloodhound

The Lazy Bloodhound painting getting it's final coats of varnish. The colors seem to illuminated out from the canvas, as they catch the light.

The Batman

I absolutely love how all of the colors are shimmering off of the canvas here. After The Batman oil painting has received it's final coats of varnish. It really adds to and protects the painting for years to come.

Orca Fun

Here, I'm applying the first coat of varnish to the Orca Fun painting. This helps to protect the painting for many, many years to come. It can easily be cleaned and maintained, after the varnish adheres to the paint.

The Crying Rhino

The Crying Rhino painting getting it's first coat of varnish. I always enjoy this part of the process. It can be scary, as you need your full wits about you, when applying the varnish.

Sharkey

I absolutely love, how this painting turned out. Especially after the final coats of varnish were applied. The finish is spectacular. Needless to say this painting sold, before I even finished the final coat!
